Gia Derza, Cherie DeVille's stepdaughter, enters the kitchen while she is pouring herself a glass of iced tea. Cherie says, "Hello, honey. " "Hi honey again," Gia says. Cherie ignores her gently. "How did your day go? " Cherie queries. "How did your day go? " Gia smiles and repeats. Cherie lets out a sigh. As Gia repeats her statement, Cherie remarks, "Look, she's only been married to Gia's father for a few months now, but she knows Gia well enough by now to see that she loves bugging people and getting under their skin. " Gia smiles once again, but Cherie is the epitome of composure. With a grin, Cherie adds, "No matter WHAT you do, missy, you won't get a reaction out of me. " That seems like a task, Gia remarks slyly. Cherie smiles amiably, "If that's how she sees it, then she guesses it's a challenge then. " Okay, challenge...ACCEPTED," Gia bellows. Gia tries to get a response by employing a variety of obnoxious strategies. She changes tack when none of them work. The creak of the bedroom door opens as Cherie lies on her bed, reading a book. It's probably best for you to give up since, after all this time, you still haven't obtained anything from me. Gia moves silently over to her mother's bed. She vaults onto it, crawls up to Cherie's groyne, and gets down on all fours. Gia starts to rub the mother's behind in an attempt to get a response. Resolved not to give up, Cherie suppresses her emotions while feigning to read her book. Gia makes the decision to step it up and starts to push her mother away.
