Alicia (Alina Lopez) is seated in a pew with the crowd and is fidgeting uneasily. She is approached with a sacrament tray, which is causing her tension at the moment. After accepting the tray, she pauses and peers down at it. She can't take a sacrament even though she knows she SHOULD. Not following her...In the hopes that no one will notice that she declined the sacrament, Alicia bites her lip and then moves the tray forward. But their eyes meet as she looks up to where Dick Chibbles' character, Bishop Bond, is seated. Bishop's smile causes Alicia's stomach to turn. Alicia is excited to leave after the ceremony, but the Bishop stops her. She is relieved when he says he wants to talk about her recommendation letter to BYU, but her worry increases when he tells her he wants to see her. She reluctantly accepts the meeting and finds herself in the Bishop's office shortly after. It soon becomes clear that he is aware of Alicia's previous transgression, even though she initially believes she is there to obtain the Bishop's letter of reference. When he questions her about her chastity, Alicia reveals that she lost her virginity to her partner. Alicia is unhappy to learn that the Bishop will not be able to write the endorsement letter. But he can atone for Alicia's crimes if she consents to have sex with HIM.
