Because Alyx Star enjoys contacting her pals on social media and Queenie Sateen is often responding to work-related communications, the two are almost always hooked to their phones. However, they panic and attempt to rectify it when the internet connection fails. But it appears that there must be a network provider issue; in that case, when will the internet be back up and running? It might take HOURS! Additionally, they don't have data plans on their phones—why would they require them? After all, they're at home all the time. Without the internet to keep them occupied, they soon get restless and don't know what to do with themselves. However, after some time, they begin to communicate more openly with one another after understanding that they haven't actually done anything or even exchanged many glances. Alyx begins to discover more about Queenie's fascinating interests and abilities, and Queenie is amazed by what a stunning woman Alyx has become. They reconnect over hours of conversation, discovering that their attraction to one another is intensifying. When they have each other, who needs the internet?
