No Comment, Scene #01

Scene opens on well-known politician Mark Zanderson. He is on the phone discussing an impending election that he is sure he will win. Almost immediately after he hangs up, he gets a text. He glances at the text and becomes quite anxious, cursing out loud. CUT TO TITLE: When his wife Evelyn (Evelyn Claire) returns home, Mark is wildly pacing the room. Talking to her makes Mark feel very uncomfortable. Clearly, he is having some sort of problem. At last, he inhales deeply and admits to Evelyn that he had an affair. Evelyn clenches her jaw in frustration. If anyone knows about this, she queries Mark. He acknowledges that a reporter named Codey (Codey Steele) got in touch with him and informed him of what had transpired. Soon, every newspaper in the nation will include an extensive article about Mark's indiscretion on its main page. Evelyn says she'll take care of it when she becomes more determined. She will not allow Mark's adultery to cost them the election in any way. She will go meet Codey and use EVERY persuasion tactic in her toolkit to get him to back off from the tale.
