A furious dispute is raging between Josie and Clark (Jay Romero), with Josie alleging to have discovered solid proof that Clark cheated on her with her best friend Felicia (Kayley Gunner). Josie wants absolutely nothing more to do with Clark, even if he insists he is innocent. Josie runs out of the house and into the street, where she has a horrible accident in front of Clark, despite Clark's pleas for her to stay. A while later, it is discovered that Josie is recovering in her bed, with Felicia paying her a visit. Felicia appears kind and considerate, making sure Josie is at ease, even if she has doubts about Josie's true state of health following the tragedy. Josie and Clark (Jay Romero) are having a furious dispute right now. Josie says she can't recall anything from the days before or the day of the accident. Felicia is understanding and assures Josie that she will always have her support—they will overcome this. After that, Felicia decides to let Josie rest and exits the room. As Felicia and Clark enter the living room together, it becomes clear that they are indeed having an affair, as Josie had assumed. Both of them are relieved that Josie has lost her memory and does not remember ever suspecting their affair. However, as soon as they begin to feel bad about carrying on with their affair, they begin to rationalize it in various ways, which only serves to strengthen their own convictions. They become so excited as they plot that they end up sharing a passionate kiss. They decide to have sex right away, thinking Josie is too weak to catch them in the act, but it might come back to haunt them.
